Job Title: Structural Engineer

Location: Greater Milwaukee, WI

Role Description : The Structural Engineer will be a full-time, on-site team member based in the Greater Milwaukee area, working closely with architects, interior designers, and other engineers to deliver well-coordinated building designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations, developing design solutions for various building types, and preparing construction documents using CAD and other industry-standard tools. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, collaborating with project teams to address technical challenges, and participating in client and consultant meetings as needed. The Structural Engineer will also support site visits, observe construction progress, and respond to field questions to help ensure that design intent and safety requirements are met. Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and calculations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to develop clear, accurate structural drawings and details.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field; EIT or PE licensure in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain) is preferred.
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to structural design.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Prior experience in building design or consulting engineering is beneficial; interest in community-focused and educational projects is a plus.
